Kenwood Village- is an attractive community of single family homes built by GHO Homes with a community pool & tennis courts. Citrus Springs- The gated community of Citrus Springs features amenities such as a clubhouse, swimming pool with sundeck, tennis courts and open spaces. Residents have the choice between public and private elementary schools. Concerning eating, the nearest supermarket in Vero Beach is generally only a rather short walk away. Dodger Pine Drive is among the best streets for groceries. Residents benefit from over 200 restaurants and coffee shops as well. In Vero Beach, the majority of buildings are single detached homes, whereas the remainder are mainly large apartment buildings and small apartment buildings. Although not age restricted, most of the residents are retirees who like the peaceful subdivision with a small pool, clubhouse and tennis courts. Riverwind- is a community of upscale homes along a nature preserve on the west side of the Indian River. It's location off of Indian River Boulevard just north of the Barber bridge makes this community just a 10 minute drive to the beach or shopping. Indian River Farms- is not technically a subdivision but describes an area generally west of 43rd street in Vero Beach Florida that is not part of any platted subdivision. Homes vary greatly in size and acreage from modest homes under $100,000 to million dollar estates on 40 acre parcels.

It is a residential community without common amenities but does have low fees. Lakes at Sandridge- is located in the northeast part of Vero Beach Florida, close to the Sand Ridge Golf Course. The original homes, built in 2005 are of CBS construction to meet the latest codes.

Fellsmere is a low density, rural community west of Sebastian and 13 miles from the Atlantic Ocean. Woodfield is known as one of the best socially active adult communities in Vero Beach. Vero Beach Highlands - is located in the southern part of town, west of US Hwy 1 just north of Saint Lucie County. A community of 120 homes, Oak Chase is deed restricted to assure compatibility of architecture. Millstone Landing- is a development in the south part of Vero Beach Florida, partially built by Shelby Homes in 2006. New homes are under construction by GHO Homes and DR Horton on the many available home sites. A second phase is planned for the future. Malaluka Gardens- is an area of central Vero Beach built in the 1970's to 1990's.
Grand Harbor- has 2 championship golf courses and a 144 slip deep water marina on the mainland and a beach club on the island. The courses are also recognized as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary for its keen respect for the natural surroundings. School service boundaries are intended to be used as reference only.
Waterford Lakes- is a community of single family homes on east side of town built in 2003. A community pool, playground and lawn-care are included with the low monthly HOA fee of $125. Walkers Glen- has an east and west phase both located just south of 26th street and east of 58th avenue. The well maintained communities provide lawn care but do not have a community pool or clubhouse.
